Onsen Culture
- Maintain order in the bathing area.
- Bathing and washing your hair before soaking in the onsen bath
- Drink water before taking an onsen bath to ensure your body doesn't get dehydrated
- Use some hot water from the bath on your body, then slowly step into the bath as your body gradually adapts to the temperature of the mineral water.
- It is recommended to take an onsen bath for up to 10 minutes at a time and to rest between each time. The total bath time should not exceed 30 minutes.
- Take off jewelry before bathing,
- DO NOT photo, or video when using the onsen to ensure a private space and relaxation for you and everyone
