The crown jewel of Linh Ung Pagoda is the colossal Quan The Am statue, towering at 67 meters – the equivalent of a 20-story building. The statue was painstakingly built over 6 years by two talented sculptors, Thuy Lam and Chau Viet Than, showcasing the quintessence of Vietnamese sculpture.
The Quan Am Buddha statue with a compassionate face, gentle eyes looking out to the sea, one hand in the three-treasure mudra, the other holding a vase of amrita, as if protecting fishermen from the storms of life.
